- Skating on the Duck Pond.
- It is cold. The moon is bright. The water is freezing, The ice, sharp against my skin. Razor blades and bloody ribbons, Cut in ivory alabaster. Me, my skin, my armour. Broken. Garnet gashes, Scarlet scratches, Lethal lines, Red, garnet, scarlet, Lethal, Blood. I feel it, Everything, The ice against my skin, The waters cold embrace, My bloods warm escape, Down my back. Running rivers on a desert of marble. Contrasts in the dead of night. Cold and warm. Light and dark. Life and death. Innocence and guilt. Victim and Villain. In the pond alone. The ice cracked and broken. The cold water turning pink. I lie there, Turning blue.
